Airsoft game on Sat Jan 2nd!!!

Hello and Happy New Year to everyone!

THe ballistic Ballers will be playing another airsoft game on Jan 2nd we will meet at Jf Paintball in the morning around 9:30 to 10:00 and then go to the chosen field from there. Our last game on the 26th had a total of 19 people! Tell your friends and lets see if we can make this game 25 or more.

A big thanks to all of you who came out with us to our two previous games we had a lot of fun playing with you guys.

the tourney update

well, now that I have a computer again I can give the official ballistic update. The tourney is still on....it just won't be til the spring. I will have an air field in November though so if there is a team looking to play we will be playing in late November or early December.

throwing a tounrement might be hard than I thought

Well I was talking to Jon from Jf Paintball today, And it seems it might be harder to throw a tournement than I thought. That is totally ok though, what is a great adventure without a few bumps in the road?

So lets see action items on a list with the info I now know:

1. Insurance:

I need to purchase insurance even for just one event, which was on eof my questions for the insurance guys but now I have that answered. I don't mind insurance it is always safer to have it than not.

2. BLM Land:

Jon told me some of the rules of the BLM land which were very enlightening to how I have to set everything up. Looks like setting up preregistration only is the way to go.

i can hold events on BLM land without a permit as long as everything is hauled out the same day. This is a huge plus!!

3. JF paintball can not help sponsor the event:

This is ok, insurance stops them right now. I don't mind this I can still find ways to help them get business and have them be there to help out as well.

Like I said it was a great conversation now it is time to reseach out my options more for getting this tourney going!

New photoslide show

I got new photos today for Rough and Ready!



Man it was nice to get out and enjoy the scenery today after work. I got off work and grabbed the camera and down to R&R for a little photo shoot.

The place has changed a little since I've last been there a few more motorcycle jumps and fallen trees. Nothing for a baller to worry about though. The dirt is dusty and dry just waiting for some paintballer to go balls out and spray paint.

I walked most of the BLM land went through the middle and the upper side took some great shots.

The bowl was great today the sun was in a great spot and didn't interfere with glare too much. I Also got some pictures of the trails past the bowl which I never includeed in my last slide show so everyone is in for a treat on this one.

I'm going to have to take the team out here and play this area and show them this section we have never played it before.

The website is back and better than ever!

Hey everybody the website is back up and better than ever! I was having a real hard time with the web builder I was with and decided to switch companies. I found a great company with a hot new flash based platform. There are still bugs because it is so new but it is well worth it.

The places to play pages now have a map, calender and slidshows. Something I had wanted to create from the beginning.

Test fired the new barrel on the cannon today!

Thats right I made a $5.00 upgrade and changed my short barrel out for a 5 ft barrel. The results were amazing! I was shooting around 150-200 ft now I easly reach 300 ft!!! The possiblites are wide open.

I took some photos and video, should have them up in a few days.
